How cultivate your inner guidance.

Photograph of one of our retreat participants deeply listening.

No one can listen to your body for you. To grow and heal, you have to take responsibility for listening to it yourself.

-Jon Kabat-Zinn

I have been back in Denver for the last few days.

I love this city!

The people of the Mile High are amazing. I connected with former teachers and students, which has been healing and inspiring—hearing your stories, the hardships, the growth, and the persistence mixed with laughter and tears.

We have all lived and grown A LOT in the last few years. So many big-time things are happening, and it feels like a significant moment in the story of humanity. We learn so much from contrast; these days, you can find things to celebrate and events that will break your heart.

Can you relate?

Thank you for welcoming me back into your lives again.

I have missed you.

Cameron and I have been practicing the Harrington Method daily since we launched, and the last few months have been incredible.

Our family lives the Harrington Method daily, and the changes have felt natural and stress-relieving. Cameron and I have been enjoying deeper and clearer communication, intimacy, and love; best of all, our whole family feels more connected.

The Harrington Method is about being accountable for several states of being; presence and listening, honoring the feelings and wisdom of your body, and taking action and speaking your truth.

Below is a simple part of the practice you can begin using immediately - A Sample of the Harrington Method.

This process has many applications, and for this sample, it will be helpful to choose an actual situation in your life to focus on through the process.

Take a moment and straighten your spine. Feel the difference in your awareness.

Exhale completely and slowly, then inhale, slower than usual, and fuller too. Fill up the entire space of your lungs.

Exhale and notice where your body and the external world are touching. Feel the weight of your clothes, and experience the contact of your body with wherever you are now.

Acknowledge how your body is always right here. Your body is always in the present moment.

Your body never leaves you. Because your body is always with you, it is your most accessible source of wisdom and experience. Your body has always been with you, across every moment of your life,

Now that you are present, I will pose a question. Listen with your whole self, the body, mind, and spirit. Trust that the first thing that comes to you is the correct answer for this practice.

Reflect on an area of your life where you are seeking a breakthrough.

What is one natural, stress-relieving thought, word, or action that you could take next?

As you answer the question internally, try to distinguish the origin of your response. For example, did it come from the mind or your body?

Be in integrity with these answers. They are vital in relieving the stress in your life right now.

So honor this inner wisdom and be led by it.

Thank you so much for taking a few minutes to invest in yourself.

The more consistently I ask myself reflective, earnest questions and listen for the answers from my WHOLE SELF, the more in awe I am of the beauty and ease of my life. Living is becoming less effort and more accomplishment.

We are here with you and would love to hear what you discovered through this practice.
